Garry Station is a blossoming community in West Lethbridge that is a mix of low- and medium-density housing. It is perfectly situated for schools, recreation, and shopping.
Amenities: Garry Station is centrally located between current retail services at West Lethbridge Towne Centre and West Highlands Towne Centre. Future commercial amenities at The Crossings (near Copperwood), will be a quick drive from the neighbourhood, as is the existing Crossing branch of the Lethbridge Public Library.
Although not built yet, several parks are planned for the community, including some water features.
There is no bus service in Garry Station, but busses travel to the nearby library and West Lethbridge Towne Centre. Because of its proximity to Garry Drive and the high schools, it will be a good candidate for transit coverage as the community grows. Nearby Garry Drive provides reasonably easy access to Highway 3 and Whoop Up Drive via University Drive.
Schools: There are no schools in Garry Station, but an elementary school is planned for the community. Mike Mountain Horse Elementary and Father Leonard Van Tighem School are a short drive away. G.S. Lakie Middle School is nearby, as are Chinook and Catholic Central High Schools.
