Within the park or close by are: a golf course, Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden, Spitz Stadium, Henderson Ice Arena, SLP Skate Park, the newly renovated Henderson Pool, tennis courts, flower gardens, and horseshoe pits. At the east end of the neighbourhood is Exhibition Park and Rocky Mountain Turf Club.
The neighbourhood is serviced by 3 bus routes. It’s bordered by Mayor Magrath Drive, the second busiest roadway in Lethbridge. It also has quick access to Crowsnest Trail and 43 Street South, both of which are part of the provincial highway network.
Schools: There are no schools in the neighbourhood, but several schools are within walking distance: General Stewart, Lakeview, École St. Mary, and Immanuel Christian for elementary school; Gilbert Patterson and St. Francis for middle school; and Lethbridge Collegiate Institute, Victoria Park, and Catholic Central for high school. École La Vérendrye is across the street from the neighbourhood and is a French immersion K–12 school.
